Baldwinsville Bees (Baldwinsville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Bees now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Liverpool for a Section 3 Central Counties - National challenge on Thursday, April 27. Baldwinsville will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 league win over West Genesee (Camillus, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Fayetteville-Manlius falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to battle the Northstars in a Section 3 Central Counties - National challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Northstars enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Cicero-North Syracuse won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Auburn (Auburn, NY)
