The Perquimans Pirates the visiting Bear Grass Charter Bears softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins go into the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Camden County nudged Holmes (Edenton, NC), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Bears now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Wayne Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 27. Bear Grass Charter will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 17-7 league win over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 14-7.
