California High School Softball - Bellflower nudges Paramount

Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Dominguez for a San Gabriel Valley challenge on Thursday, April 27. Bellflower will battle a Dons squad coming off a 29-0 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Paramount falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA) to battle the Falcons in a Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 5-15. Firebaugh won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA)
