Virginia High School Softball - Brentsville District bounces Meridian

The Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) softball routed the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), 11-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the Northwestern bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, William Monroe notched a victory over Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 9-6, in a league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fauquier for a Northwestern bout on Wednesday, April 26. Meridian will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-10.
