Ohio High School Softball - Union Local knocked off by Buckeye Local

April 25, 2023: Rayland, OH 43943

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), by a margin of 17-8.

With the triumph, Buckeye Local moves its record to 1-16 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA contest on Wednesday, April 26. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-8. Bridgeport won 7-3 in their recent non-league contest against Paden City (Paden City, WV)

In their next game, the Jets play the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 1. Union Local will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record.
