Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterville/Mansfield for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. Cashmere will battle a squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Manson (Manson, WA). The record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Chelan falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Mountain goats travel to Cascade (Leavenworth, WA) to battle the Kodiaks in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Friday, April 28. The Kodiaks enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Cascade lost 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ephrata (Ephrata, WA)
