The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), saw Monticello's softball squad achieve victory over Charlottesville by a count of 19-1.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Albemarle for a Jefferson match on Thursday, April 27. Monticello will face a Patriots squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Charlottesville falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to face the Fighting Hornets in a Jefferson match on Thursday, April 27. The Fighting Hornets enter the match with a record of 8-4. Orange County won 2-1 in their recent league match against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
