Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their softball team defeat the visiting South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN), 8-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Chuckey-Doak moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Black Knights travel to Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, April 28. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 6-17. Jefferson County lost 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Bearden (Knoxville, TN)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) in a 2A District 1 game, on Monday, May 1. South Greene will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 6-9 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN).
