Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) and the host Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA), witnessed Colville's softball squad tip Lakeside by a count of 8-7.
The Crimson Hawks now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Priest River for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. Colville will face a Spartans squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Lakeside moves to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Newport (Newport, WA) to face the Grizzlies in a 1A Northeast match on Wednesday, April 26. The Grizzlies go into the match with a record of 4-7. Newport won 11-1 in their recent league match against Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA)
