West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. West Rowan will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Concord falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Spiders travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. East Rowan lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
