The South Point Red Raiders softball team (Belmont, NC), was routed 12-2 in Tuesday's league test with the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC)
Coming up next, the Chargers encounter the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a Big South 3A test, on Wednesday, April 26. Crest will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the test with a 11-5 record after their 16-0 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
The Red Raiders (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Bessemer City prevailed over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 5-4, in a league test.
