The Pikeville Panthers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting East Ridge Warriors to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pikeville moves its record to 11-12 on the year. The Panthers host Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 26. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 19-4. Lawrence County won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 27. East Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 7-11 record after their 9-4 league win over Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY).
