Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Valley Knights (Spokane, WA), 14-9 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Saturday, April 29. Shadle Park will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 25-2 league loss to West Valley (Spokane, WA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, East Valley falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Pullman (Pullman, WA) to battle the Greyhounds in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 1-10. Pullman lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Colton (Colton, WA)
