The Kellam Knights softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host First Colonial Patriots to 1 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Kellam improves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Beach game on Thursday, April 27. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 8-6. Kempsville won 14-2 in their recent league game against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach game, on Tuesday, May 2. First Colonial will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 11-4 league win over Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA).
