The Holcomb Hornets softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Gideon Bulldogs to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Holcomb improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, May 1. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 13-7. East Prairie lost 4-3 in their recent league game against Malden (Malden, MO)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO) in a District 2 game, on Tuesday, May 2. Gideon will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
