North Carolina High School Softball - Robbinsville edged by Hiwassee Dam

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Hiwassee Dam Eagles softball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Robbinsville Black Knights.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Thursday, April 27. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Maroon Devils enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 13-2 league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC).

The Black Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets enter the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, A.C. Reynolds tipped Erwin (Asheville, NC), 8-0, in a league outing.
