Nevada High School Softball - Indian Springs bounces Sandy Valley

The Indian Springs Thunderbirds routed the visiting Sandy Valley Sidewinders softball squad by a count of 21-6 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Thunderbirds (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View Christian (Las Vegas, NV). The Saints go into the 1A Southern battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Mountain View Christian was routed by Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV), 17-15, in a non-league battle.

The Sidewinders now sport a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Laughlin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 2. Sandy Valley will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 9-11.
