Virginia High School Softball - Ridgeview bounces John Battle

The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) and the visiting John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA), saw Ridgeview's softball squad achieve victory over John Battle by a count of 13-3.
The Wolfpack now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain 7 match on Thursday, April 27. Ridgeview will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, John Battle falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN) to face the Fighting Cyclones in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. The Fighting Cyclones enter the match with a record of 17-8. Elizabethton won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN)
