Nevada High School Softball - Lincoln County holds off Pahranagat Valley

Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pahranagat Valley Panthers (Alamo, NV), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Lynx now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Awaken Christian for a 2A- Southern challenge on Friday, April 28. Lincoln County will face a Lions squad coming off a 17-4 league loss to Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Pahranagat Valley falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Tonopah (Tonopah, NV) to face the Muckers in a 1A Southern challenge on Friday, April 28. The Muckers enter the challenge with a record of 14-2. Tonopah lost 19-11 in their recent league challenge against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV)
