The Mattanawcook Lynx routed the host Orono Riots softball squad by a final score of 8-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Lynx (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Lee Academy was routed by Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME), 12-0, in a league battle.

The Riots now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Central for a Class C North battle on Thursday, April 27.
