The McLane Highlanders softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Torres Toros to 0 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McLane improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Sunnyside (Fresno, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a North Yosemite outing on Friday, April 28. The Wildcats enter the outing with a record of 6-15. Sunnyside lost 9-1 in their recent league outing against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA)

The Toros (0-16) will now prepare for their outing against Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Warriors enter the North Yosemite outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, Fresno prevailed over Hoover (Fresno, CA), 5-4, in a league outing.
