Ohio High School Softball - Mineral Ridge holds off Springfield

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) and the host Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), witnessed Mineral Ridge's softball squad tip Springfield by a count of 2-0.

The Rams now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match on Thursday, April 27. Mineral Ridge will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Springfield moves to 9-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to face the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match on Wednesday, April 26. The Bluejays go into the match with a record of 7-5.
