California High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces Nevada Union

The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball routed the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 12-5 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bruins (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners go into the Foothill Valley League challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Nevada Union got by Colfax (Colfax, CA), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Nevada Union falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Miners host Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to battle the Bruins in a Foothill Valley League challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Ponderosa won 20-3 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)
