Virginia High School Softball - Tunstall thwarted by Patrick County

The Tunstall Trojans softball team (Dry Fork, VA), was routed 14-2 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA)

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a Piedmont test, on Thursday, April 27. Patrick County will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA).

The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their test against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix come into the non-league test with a 21-0 record. In their last test, McMichael overcame Randleman (Randleman, NC), 8-0, in a non-league test.
