West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to T.C. Roberson for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. West Henderson will face a Rams squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Pisgah falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to face the Mountaineers in a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Friday, April 28. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 9-7. Tuscola lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)
