West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Dons now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandia for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. West Las Vegas will face a Matadors squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Raton falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to face the Cardinals in a 3A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 17-5. Robertson won 24-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
