Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Redhawks now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Pointe for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. Westwood will face a Stallions squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Richland Northeast falls to 0-16 on the campaign.
