Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 24-1 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Raton for a 3A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 29. Robertson will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 3-17.

With the loss, St. Michael's falls to 8-16 on the campaign. The Horsemen travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Braves in a 3A District 2 challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 19-1. Santa Fe Indian won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)
