Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), witnessed Miller School of Albemarle's baseball team gain a win over Blue Ridge by a score of 10-0.
The Mavericks (21-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, St. Christopher's was overwhelmed by St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA), 7-4, in a league match.
The Barons (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons go into the VISAA Virginia Independent match with a 6-6 record.
