Florida High School Baseball - DeSoto County sneaks past Lake Placid

The DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) baseball nipped the visiting Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 26. DeSoto County will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 14-8 record after their 8-3 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL).

The Dragons now sport a 10-15 record. They take the field next when they host Four Corners for a non-league contest on Monday, April 29. Lake Placid will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Central Florida Christian Academy (Ocoee, FL). The Coyotes record now stands at 13-11.
