The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) and the host Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), saw Falls Lake's volleyball squad nip Excelsior Classical Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Falls Lake upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year. The Firebirds host Orange (Hillsborough, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-14.

The Flying Lions now own a 4-8 record.
