The Middletown South Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Marlboro Mustangs to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Howell for a Shore - A North game on Tuesday, April 30. Middletown South will confront a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Rebels record now stands at 7-2.

The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Keyport was nudged by Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
