The Lake Catholic Cougars lacrosse team scored 13 points and limited the host Padua Franciscan Bruins to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH). The Bees go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Brecksville-Broadview Heights defeated Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH), 14-5, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Padua Franciscan drops to 1-8 on the season. The Bruins host Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to play the Shoremen in a non-league match on Monday, April 29. The Shoremen go into the match with a record of 4-6. Avon Lake lost 22-9 in their recent non-league match against Magnificat (Rocky River, OH)
