Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Monday, April 29. Monticello will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 7-0 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).

The Bulldogs now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlottesville for a Jefferson challenge on Monday, April 29. Goochland will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-3.
