Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys confront the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Tuesday, April 30. Southwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Whirlies enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 1-1 league Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC).

The Falcons now have a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Southeast Guilford will confront a Hornets team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 1-13.
