In Thursday's league contest, the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), by a margin of 14-3.

With the triumph, Boardman moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Alliance (Alliance, OH) to play the Aviators in a non-league contest on Friday, April 26. The Aviators come into the contest with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Falcons play the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 29. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
