Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), 10-7 in a league test.

The Crusaders now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland for a Division 2 test on Monday, April 29. Prout will face a Clippers squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 4-3.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Saturday, April 27. Cranston West will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Chargers go into the match with a 3-4 record after their 19-4 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
