Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roncalli Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Gross Catholic will confront a Crimson Pride team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Crimson Pride record now stands at 11-5.
