St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moorhead for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. St. Cloud Cathedral will face a Spuds squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Spuds record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Alexandria falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN) to face the Sabres in a Central Lakes challenge on Monday, April 29. The Sabres enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
