Alabama High School Softball - Ariton bounces Dale County

Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Purple Cats now own a 20-16 record. They take the field next when they host Northside Methodist Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26.

With the loss, Dale County falls to 16-23 on the campaign. The Warriors host Geneva (Geneva, AL) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 9-18. Geneva lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Zion Chapel (Jack, AL)
