North Carolina High School Softball - Ashley edged by South View

April 25, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host South View Tigers softball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A outing, on Friday, April 26. South View will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 6-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC).

The Screaming Eagle (2-18) will now prepare for their outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats enter the Mideastern 3A/4A outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, New Hanover was tipped by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 15-0, in a league outing.
