Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Varela Vipers (Miami, FL), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coral Gables for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Braddock will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over TERRA Environmental (Miami, FL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Varela falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Southwest (Miami, FL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Southwest won 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against American (Hialeah, FL)
