The Pine Valley Central Panthers routed the host Cassadaga Valley Cougars softball squad by a final score of 18-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Forestville Central (Forestville, NY). The Hornets go into the Chautaqua / Cattaragus I East battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Forestville Central notched a victory over Brocton (Brocton, NY), 12-2, in a league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Panama for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus II West battle on Friday, April 26. Cassadaga Valley will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
