New York High School Softball - Chenango Valley gets by Chenango Forks

The Chenango Valley Warriors got by the visiting Chenango Forks Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Thursday's league battle.

The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets go into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Abington Heights was edged by Valley View (Archbald, PA), 7-1, in a league battle.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Seton Catholic Central for a Section 4 Southern Tier - East battle on Monday, April 29. Chenango Forks will meet a Saints squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY). The Saints record now stands at 0-8.
