Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Warren for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Daviess County will face a Spartans squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 26-2.

With the loss, Owensboro falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY) to face the Aces in a District 9 challenge on Sunday, April 28. The Aces enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Owensboro Catholic won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY)
