Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian Creek for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Durand will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Earlville (Earlville, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Pearl City falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to face the Broncos in a NUIC East challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 17-5.
