The Windsor Dukes softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Franklin Broncos to 0 in the Dukes league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Windsor moves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Dukes host Southampton (Courtland, VA) to play the Indians in a Tri-Rivers game on Tuesday, April 30. The Indians come into the game with a record of 8-2. Southampton won 21-0 in their recent league game against Sussex Central (Sussex, VA)

In their next game, the Broncos play the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Franklin will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 21-20 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
