Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Flyers now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otsego for a Northern Buckeye challenge on Monday, April 29.

With the loss, Genoa Area falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Otsego (Tontogany, OH) to face the Knights in a Northern Buckeye challenge on Friday, April 26. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 6-5.
