The North Polars softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Hill-Murray Pioneers to 3 in the Polars non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, North moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Polars travel to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to clash with the Zephyrs in a Metro East game on Monday, April 29. The Zephyrs come into the game with a record of 2-7. Mahtomedi lost 16-10 in their recent non-league game against Tartan (Oakdale, MN)

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 27. Hill-Murray will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Spuds come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 6-5 non-league win over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).
