Pennsylvania High School Softball - Scranton knocked off by Holy Cross

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Holy Cross moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Crusaders host Riverside (Taylor, PA) to play the Vikings in a Lackawanna 3 contest on Friday, April 26. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 2-4.

In their next game, the Knights play the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 contest, on Friday, April 26. Scranton will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Buckhorns come into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 10-0 league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA).
